Beast is a Wish Parasold Dolls that has been set up into the apartment of his owner in Chicago. He comes with a bamboo totemic stand, which I personally installed in the living room by securing it on the wall using nails and metallic wire.
Each of the Parasol Wish Dolls comes with a dreamcatcher and a tag with the name of the doll.
This is a customizable dolls, since the owner can choose the name of the doll, which needs to be connected with some sort of wish or goal that is important to his/her.
The Wish Parasol Doll will do his/her best to make that wish happen!
Here is a detail of the dreamcatcher, which is customizable as well.
In this case the owner wanted a purple trim thread to be hung by the dreamcatcher. That was probably the symbol of the link to "the beast" the owner is trying to defeat.
I had lot of fun working on Beast. This kind of customizable art is always a challenge, since sometimes it is hard to find a connection with the client and difficult to fullfill his/hers expectations.
With Beast I succeded in that and this is to me the best reward.
