Here I am with another custom-made installation.

Milu' belongs to a series of fluffy and tender Mood Lamps, which comes in various sizes, different colors and kind of light. They are provided with a light switch and a bulb.

A Jellyfish Mood Lamp has a jellyfish shape and the custom can hang it by walls or furniture, like in this case: Milu' has been installed into a bathroom, on top of a display made in wire.

I'm planning to create schools of lighting jellyfishes connected through a only electric wire. They will be
perfect home decor chandeliers, for people who are constantly craving for innovation, humour and style.

Wish Parasol Dolls

Here is a sample of my latest series of Japanese Parasol Dolls, titled "Wish Parasol Dolls".

Beast is a Wish Parasold Dolls that has been set up into the apartment of his owner in Chicago. He comes with a bamboo totemic stand, which I personally installed in the living room by securing it on the wall using nails and metallic wire.

Each of the Parasol Wish Dolls comes with a dreamcatcher and a tag with the name of the doll.

This is a customizable dolls, since the owner can choose the name of the doll, which needs to be connected with some sort of wish or goal that is important to his/her.

The Wish Parasol Doll will do his/her best to make that wish happen!

Here is a detail of the dreamcatcher, which is customizable as well.

In this case the owner wanted a purple trim thread to be hung by the dreamcatcher. That was probably the symbol of the link to "the beast" the owner is trying to defeat.

I had lot of fun working on Beast. This kind of customizable art is always a challenge, since sometimes it is hard to find a connection with the client and difficult to fullfill his/hers expectations.

With Beast I succeded in that and this is to me the best reward.

Japanese plush garden proj: Parasol Dolls

The first two of a new series called Parasol dolls are MooshiTooth and SushiBoo.

They are fluffy dolls hung by a wooden panel. The dolls are mobile works of art, since you can detach them from the panel and use them for decorating your Japanese garden or your purse (through the safety pin each doll comes with) or your boots or your backpack.
Or you can just pamper them while you're sitting on the sofa watching tv or listening to music.

"Japanese Plush Garden" project.

Here is Sushi Lou, the first stuffed doll of a series of "gardening dolls" titled "Japanese plush garden". Those dolls have an Asian look and match beautiful with a Japanese garden. They can be used as a decoration for weddings, parties and "artsy" live events.

"The Japanese Plush Garden's dolls" match perfectly with leaves and trunks, flowers and vapour. Some of them mimetize with the natural environment, so that one doesn't catch glimpses of them at a first sight.

Those stuffed creatures are perfect for an "art watching" kind of art installation.

Sushi Lou comes with her personal display, but she can be detached and hung by a tree in the garden. So if you buy one of those dolls you can display it either inside your house or in the yard, when you host a party.

Let's make it a wonderful plush world!

I love plush art and I had the vision of a world populated by stuffed dolls living among us. They are silent but also very charismatic. This dream gave me the idea for my project "Make it a wonderful plush world" .
